Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Full-time Refugee Cash and Medical Assistance Case Manager (CMA) who will provide crucial financial assistance and support to ORR-eligible individuals aiming for economic self-sufficiency. This role involves screening for program eligibility, enrolling clients, issuing monthly allowances, leading client relationships, and ensuring rigorous compliance with program and funding requirements while maintaining thorough documentation and database records.
Responsibilities:
You will provide temporary financial assistance to ORR-eligible individuals and empower clients toward economic self-sufficiency.
You will screen clients for eligibility and enroll clients in the RCA Program.
You will monitor compliance and issue payments for monthly allowances.
You screen clients for eligibility into the RCA Program and provide application assistance.
You lead the client relationship.
You issue monthly cash assistance payments and document all transactions.
You complete referrals to employment providers for RCA recipients and monitor participation with employment providers.
You monitor and evaluate client progress and program compliance.
You complete all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funding requirements and agency quality assurance standards.
You prepare and maintain detailed case files, required forms, and reports.
You enter all required information into the database promptly.
You advocate for clients with service providers or agencies and in the community.
You screen clients for eligibility into the RMA Program and provide application assistance.
You complete referrals to service providers for RMA recipients
You lead the Client relationship.
You monitor and evaluate client progress and program compliance.
You complete all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funding requirements and agency quality assurance standards.
You prepare and maintain detailed case files, required forms, and reports.
You enter all required information into the eRed database promptly.
Represent Gii’s core values and mission in the office, with clients, and throughout the community.
Location & Commitments:
This position is a full-time hybrid position, funded through September 30th, 2025, with possible renewable given funding availability.
Occasional after-hours may be required outside of standard hours.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR a combination of education and experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish Required.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Working knowledge of computers, including Excel, Word, and MS Office.
Familiarity with refugee populations and their needs.
Must have reliable transportation.
Compassionate and friendly demeanor, with the ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
